Brighton based I'm creative and hard working with a flare for the extraordinary. I have a range of experience from doing makeup for amateur stage productions to working on high fashion, editorial and commercial photoshoots. My love for all things makeup stems from my interest in both painting and theatre, I've always felt torn between the depth of storytelling and the simple beauty of brushstrokes, makeup artistry combines them both.
My professional style draws influences from anything and everything - whether it be a high budget film special effects, the colour of a particular petal in the garden, or the way someone paints a sunset. Working and living in Brighton, I am immersed by a variety of fashions and cultures that has moulded both my personal tastes and my work as a makeup artist
I have taken inspiration from Makeup Artists such as Joanna Strange, Sam Schavlev and Heather Mouse who all have such unique and contemporary ways to use makeup creating highly expressive and descriptive looks that tell a story beyond words.
Whilst I do love a bit of theatrics, I also have great pride in creating a seamlessly finished everyday look - the perfectionist in me loves the complexity of creating something simple.
